Although there are many boards out there that have fueled new an awesome creations, for retro or perhaps even fantasy-style computing replicas, it’s hard to beat the Raspberry Pi. Some of these are impressive because of the way they use the Pi’s computing power, but others, like this working Fallout 4 Terminal, stand out because of an amazing enclosure build.

The prop consists of approximately 15 parts and features an internal Raspberry Pi with a 3.5" TFT touchscreen. There’s also thin piece of dark green tinted acrylic over the front to give it the look of an old display.

This terminal housing was modeled first in Autodesk Inventor then imported to Sketchup for modifications, and finally 3D-printed on a LulzBot Mini. “Finally” is a bit of a misnomer here, because as seen in the time-lapse video of how it was made, after printing there was a very involved process of sanding, painting, and finishing steps in order to give it a great weathered look!
