Hackster’s Now Half a Million Strong

This week, Hackster has gone from the world’s fastest growing hardware developer community, to one of the world’s largest. We’ve crossed the 500,000-member milestone and are still growing fast. Adhering to the same principles we held from day one — open sharing, respectful conduct, and keeping up with innovation — we are helping developers bring ideas to life, showcasing inventions and creative work from people of every country, gender, and background. Also worth mentioning is that our members have published nearly 13,000 open source hardware projects since we started and have cumulatively won close to $800,000 in contest prizes. If you are a Hackster member, you amaze us every day!

What’s next for Hackster? Our team is hard at work creating new sections for Pros, launching new initiatives that tackle environmental and social issues, releasing new software upgrades, expanding our content and media services, and always providing new partners, products and topics for you to build on from blockchain and AI to IoT and the latest in robotics.
