480 LED lights have transformed Tel Aviv’s Rabin Square into a gigantic, old-school gaming arena.

As seen in the video below, the Tel Aviv-Yafo municipality building has been turned into a massive,a 32,000-square-foot “screen” for playing low-res video games. Plus, visitors can compete against one another using a pair of five-foot-tall joysticks. Tetris is on display here, but other ’80s classics like Snake and Pong are also available.

An Arduino board controls the coordinated lights, which are meant to mark an innovation festival taking place in Tel Aviv in late September. Plans are to leave the installation in place after the festival for use every Thursday after dark.
