The nTime Alarm Clock Will Make Sure You’re Never Late Again

If you go to school, or have a job where it’s critical that you arrive on time, getting up at the same time every day doesn’t always work. Traffic and weather, as well as variations in your calendar mean that this can vary greatly.

To help keep himself on time, Braxton Baynard created nTime, an alarm clock that takes into account not only your calendar, but the traffic and weather between your start point and the destination. It does this by using a pcDuino to interface with Google Calendar and Maps as well as Yahoo weather. Information is piped serially to an Arduino Mega, which controls an LCD screen, and finally to an Arduino Pro Mini that powers several NeoPixels.

The system can also output data via speakers and text to speech. Hopefully with this awesome setup, Baynard will never be late again!
