For most of us, electronics projects start as prototypes on the breadboard. While that makes it quick and easy to put together circuits, handling power requirements can be a bit challenging. Individual components often require a variety of voltages, and even just setting up a single voltage regulator can take up a large portion of the breadboard.

Now you can remove that frustration completely by backing this adjustable breadboard-friendly power supply on Kickstarter. The power supply fits any standard-size breadboard, and provides power to both rails simultaneously. It only uses eight pins on each rail, with four on the negative side and four on the positive side, and the PCB itself is cut out to free up all of the non-power part of the breadboard.

Input to the power supply can come from either a barrel jack, a mini USB, or a micro USB. With power coming into the board, the voltage on each rail can be set individually. You can choose from standard 3.3V and 5V microcontroller voltages, anything between 1.2V and 21V, or simply the max available voltage. The early bird specials are all gone, but you can still back it at the regular price of $14 until March 22nd, and backers should receive their boards in June.
