Hackers are constantly vying to build smaller and smaller gadgets, but it’s going to be hard to create a Pi gaming system smaller than the TinyPi.

Pi0cket decided to see how small he could go with a Raspberry Pi Zero console, and came up with something that’s barely larger than the Zero itself. Unless there’s an even more minuscule Raspberry Pi in the works, competitors can’t hope for much more than a tie.

In order to get everything in such a tiny package, the device uses a custom PCB, along with a 1.44” TFT screen at a 128x128 resolution. It also includes a mini joysitck, two action buttons, a navigation switch, as well as a pair of piezo transducers for stereo sound output. If this sounds really interesting, you’re not alone. They were originally available on Tindie, but “demand was too great,” so sales are slated to move to Crowd Supply soon.

If you’d like to see what goes into assembling this little gadget, a series of videos can be found here. You can also see a short clip of it in action in the first video below, and there’s even an assembly time lapse if you’d like a quick preview of what’s involved in constructing your own.
