Turn Your Raspberry Pi Into an IR Remote Control

The Raspberry Pi Zero W is a tiny $10 wireless computer equipped with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, making it ideal for controlling modern-day IoT devices. But what about your old TV, HiFi system, or window AC unit? With this in mind, Bulgarian Leon Anavi has created an infrared HAT that enables you to convert your Pi into a powerful remote.

The ANAVI Infrared pHAT crams a pair of IR LEDs, an IR receiver, UART pins for debugging, and slots for up to three plug-and-play sensors into a small, Pi Zero-sized package.

The HAT supports temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and light sensors, and is compatible with all members of the Raspberry Pi family with 40-pin headers.
