So you just picked up a new component or dev board and are ready to try it out. Maybe it even sports an analog input feature with which you’d like to experiment. As exciting as this is, how are you going to power it and adjust the analog input voltage? You could of course kludge something together, but the Zero Multi-Power Supply, now available on Kickstarter, answers this question once and for all. It supplies from 1.25–24VDC, and pulls power from a variety of inputs.

The Zero Multi-Power Supply is equipped with a pair of jumper-selectable output pins that can be hooked up to one of two 1–5V adjustable output voltages, or pulled to a set 3.3V as needed. Finally, a 6–24V output can be selected via a jumper on the bottom output pin. Conveniently, these outputs are physically spaced for a breadboard, which can be included as part of the package if so desired.

Input-wise, the device is similarly impressive, as it can accept Micro and Mini USB plugs, as well as a 3.5 and 5.5V barrel power connectors. All of this is nicely supported with a dual-breadboard design, so that it sits flush on your workbench and the connections don’t pull out due to gravity. Perhaps it’s the answer to all your future power issues!
